Numerous resources are available to assist wounded warriors in obtaining their benefits.

Wounded Warrior Project
Nonprofit organization providing a wide variety of services and help to military members injured in the line of duty. VA accredited, the Wounded Warrior Project's representatives will assist Veterans with VA claims. They also offer support to family members of those wounded or killed in combat operations.

Disability Benefits for Wounded Warriors
Servicemembers injured while on active military duty on or after October 1, 2001 may qualify for Social Security benefits unrelated to the VA benefits. This Q&A offers information and instructions about applying for the disability benefits.

A valuable organization in helping to ensure the needs of the servicemember, family members and caregivers are met.

Provides a vast amount of benefit information and tools for wounded servicemembers. Resources include handbooks and information about transitioning from TRICARE to Veterans' Affairs.
