BAH Calculator for Active Duty

See More About:
Active duty servicemembers earn an allowance referred to as Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH). Essentially, this is a sum of money that’s paid monthly to offset the servicemember’s housing expense.

BAH rates are calculated according to rank and the location of the servicemember’s duty station, not his or her residential location.

Finding out the BAH rate for a specific military installation is easy. All you need to do is enter the duty station’s zip code and your pay grade into this BAH Calculator. You’ll then be provided with two rates: BAH With Dependents and BAH Without Dependents.

Members of the Reserves and National Guard
BAH rates for active duty are not the same as the BAH paid to members of the Reserve and Guard who are called to active duty for less than 30 days for noncontingency operations such as annual training or attending schools.
